Architectural Park Complex "The Palace", Balchik Town
Architectural park complex "The Palace" is located about 2 km southwest from the center of Balchik, Dobrich region. The complex emerged as a summer residence of the Rumanian Queen Maria (1875–1938). Sofia University "St. Kl. Ohridski" creates a botanical garden at 65 000sq. m. Today, over 2000 plant species from 85 different families and over 800 genus are grown here.
