Belmeken Peak, Rila Mountain
Belmeken is a peak in the Ibar's part of Rila. Its height is 2626 m. There is a relatively easy access from the south, from Belmeken Dam. The starting points are the villages of Yundola and Sestrimo. The climb from the southern wall of Belmeken Dam is about 2 hours and 30 minutes. You walk along a well-stamped path. The final stretch of climbing from the south is steeper, but it is grassy and safe. From the top you can see the lake far and wide.
