Botev Peak, The Balkans

Botev is the highest peak in the Balkan Mountains. It is 2376 meters high. It is a vast pasture with a granite base. The peak is on the territory of Djendema Reserve. You can reach the peak crossing the so-called Tarzan trail. It was traced in 1941 by the meteorologist and mountaineer Todor Bozhkov - Tarzan who later died there.
