Buinovsko Gorge

Buinovo Gorge is a defile on Buinovska river. Buinovo Gorge is the longest in Bulgaria. Its length is about 10 km and its average altitude is 1090 m. It is situated between the villages of Yagodina and Teshel. The narrowest part of the gorge is called "Valchi skok", because in winter the wolves crossed the river in search of food.
