"Eastern Mound" Complex, Karanovo Village
Eastern Mound is located near the village of Karanovo, Nova Zagora. There is evidence that it has been inhabited since ancient times. Many bronze, silver and gold objects, jewelry and coins have been found there. You can also see an authentic Thracian chariot. A skeleton of a dog is discovered next to the chariot, which is supposed to be the hunting dog of the aristocrat. Skeletons of two horses have been discovered nearby.
