Emen Cave

Emen Cave

The Emen Cave is located at the beginning of the Negovan eco trail. The cave is one of the longest in Bulgaria, over 3 km. The air temperature in it is constant - about 16 degrees. It is home to five species of bats. Various types of clay vessels and household items were found during the exploration of the cave. Over the years, it has been used as a mushroom farm and as part of the military base built above it.
