Lovech Town

The town of Lovech is located in Central North Bulgaria. The population is about 38,000 people. The average altitude of Lovech is 360 m. In 1187 the peace treaty between Bulgaria and Byzantium was signed there. This truce marked the beginning of the Second Bulgarian Empire. The official holiday of the town of Lovech is 11th May.
