Shiroka Polyana Dam

Shiroka Polyana Dam

Shiroka Polyana dam is located in a pine forest at 1500m above sea level in the Western Rhodopes. Batak is about 30km. away. The uneven terrain at the bottom of the dam creates the illusion that Shiroka Polyana is made up of many small dams with separate walls. The dam has a large variety of fish species. An asphalt road leads to the dam. There are pleasant campsites near the dam.
