"St. George" Kremikovski Monastery
"St. George" Kremikovski Monastery is about 3km. away from the housing estate of "Kremikotsi" in Sofia. It is considered to be built in the XIV c. From the 50s of the XXc. the Kremikovtsi momastery is convent. Aftrer that military officers are settled there. They inhabited the monastery for about 18 years. The frescoes in the old church date back to the time of its building. Next ot the old church there is a new one which is built in the XIX c. There you can see beautiful woodcarvings.
