"St. Nikola" Rock Monastery, Karlukovo Village
The Monastery of St. Nichola (Gligora) is situated in a natural rock niche in Dolni Gligor area. The road to the monastery is dirty, 2.8 km. to the right of the stone bridge of Karlukovo village. You need to climb about 100 steps to the monastery. The church was painted in two picturesque layers, dating back to the fourteenth and seventeenth centuries. Many beautiful murals were made in past.
