The Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak
The original of a Thracian tomb from ІV-ІІІ centuries BC can be found in the "Tyulbeto" park in Kazanlak. It is known as Kazanlak tomb. It consists of an antechamber, a corridor and a dome chamber. The tomb of Kazanlak has the most preserved frescoes in Bulgaria connected with Thracian art. Battle scenes are depicted in the corridor as well as decorative friezes in the camera: a composition depicting the symbolic sending of the deceased ruler and three galloping chariots.
