"Varosha" Architectural and Historical Reserve, Lovech City

"Varosha" Architectural and historical reserve covers the old part of Lovech. Varosha district was declared to be an architectural and historical reserve in 1968. Its streets are narrow and meandering. The houses are small, most of them are with high stone fences. Almost all of them are habitable. The construction is typical for the period of the 70s of the XIX century. The reserve also includes the covered bridge, Hissarya Fortress, the monument of Vasil Levski, "Uspenie Bogorodichno" church, Vasil Levski Museum.
