Vasil Levski Monument, Karlovo Town

The monument of Vasil Levski was erected in Karlovo between 1903-1907. The deacon was depicted in full height with a gun next to a roaring lion which is a symbol of the people. The names of the people from Karlovo who died in 1877 are written on the pedestal of the monument.
