Nessebar Town
The town of Nessebar is located in the southeastern part of Bulgaria on the Black Sea coast. Its population is about 14,000 people. It originated more than 3000 years ago. The town was most developed under the reign of Tsar Ivan Alexander (1331 - 1371). Many churches were built, cultural and spiritual activities took place then. The biggest landmark is "The Old Town", which was declared an architectural and historic reserve in 1956.
